CEO & Founder

Jason Michaud, a visionary in the space industry, hails from Dubreuilville, a small lumber village enriched by French and Métis heritage. Growing up amidst the cultures of the French and Anishnawbe communities on the traditional lands of Michipicoten First Nation, Jason overcame the challenges of an isolated upbringing to pursue his passion for STEM. He became the first in his family to graduate high school and studied computer sciences at Collège Boréal. In 2014, Jason founded Stardust Technologies with a mission to revolutionize the space industry through innovation and accessibility. Under his leadership, Stardust has launched numerous international projects, including the groundbreaking Anangokaa Festival, the largest space festival in Canadian history, and has collaborated with institutions such as the Canadian Space Agency and the National Research Council of Canada.

Jason's contributions to space exploration are vast and varied, from his work on the SERENITY project to his development of the first indigenous space agency and the creation of THEIA, the world's first lunar analog habitat. His efforts have not only advanced technological innovation but also empowered Indigenous communities and promoted STEM education. Through initiatives like the Stardust Space Centre and the Stardust Alliance, Jason has inspired countless youth to pursue careers in STEM. With over 80 parabolas of experience in zero-gravity and ambitious projects on the horizon, Jason Michaud is not just making strides in space; he's creating a legacy that bridges the stars and the earth, ensuring that space exploration is inclusive, innovative, and within everyone's reach.
